GEN: Consider for a moment as you contemplate many of the controls over which you put on your experience and that of your own thoughts. We would like you to consider that your experience and your perception of yourself and your existence is constructed, with belief after belief and construct after construct, of what you believe to be the truth.
You limit your perception by the expectation of the lies that you believe, the untruths that are found within your interactions. However, there exists within your physical realm only truth, and those truths are found within individual truth. There are truths that have coalesced within mass consciousness that you perceive as cultural norms.
You each have a choice to add or deny your inclusion within this grand sense of truth. Although you believe it to have strength when it gains the momentum en masse, it does not have any more strength than your own individual truth. You do not add to its strength by recognizing it. You add to its strength with the expectation of such. The expectation of its growth and power lets it grow to the degree that it has within your physical reality.
You do not expect this idea or set of principles will presuppose any other principle that you have been given by others. We each hold the premise that there is truth found in all. That all principals and all explanations can be found in truth. That all explanations are an expression of joy.
It is true that if you fail to support or give your attention to a subject within mainstream thinking, that you will deny its power, and it will not become part of your past moments. You will divert your focus and it will lose its power to sustain its presence within your future moments. In this way, you hold the power in your ever present now. You hold that power of your own perception.
Now, we want you to think beyond, consider beyond your present perceptions, and in addition to denying your attention to the situation, we would like you to consider your expectation of that situation. Diverting your focus, diverting your attention to another outcome or new possibilities, is only part of the process.
Your expectation lies within your beliefs, whether you expect that a situation held within the constructs of mass consciousness will hold inherent power and exist and grow ever stronger within the ideas of mainstream consciousness. That expectation holds for the existence of this pattern of belief. Your expectation, then, will travel with you to your new focus of attention, and that expectation will create the representation of such within your new focus.
We are not saying that each and every idea will represent itself in an exact pattern within your new focus. But the symbolic representation of that situation in your past moments will represent itself in future moments. You can see here and understand, that this simple process of focusing your attention upon another direction is only part of the process. It only placates your ability to change your reality centered within yourself. It changes your perspective.
But some of you notice that your experience doesn't change greatly. It seems to be that you experience more of the same. It just looks like a different person, different experience, different place, and different time, but resembles much of the beliefs that you held in the past. This concept is why anger in the past can find its way into your moments of the future. When you redirect your focus, redirect your attention, the anger is also represented within that new focus.
It is because you are taking your expectations with you. Your expectations limit your perception. They limit the perception within the new focus. So, when you turn your attention, you remain limited by that expectation. You know that the expectations are found within your belief system. You know that changing your beliefs is found within your experience.
Ask for the guidance and the awarenesses and the understanding, and you will have it. Open yourself, live spontaneously, and you will find those meanings, and you will make the simple decision to change your beliefs. In that changing, you will find your beliefs developing in ways that will surprise and delight you. That is because the novel represents the change in your expectations.
Some of you will also guess that there are many other beliefs, concepts, and ideas in play. You are each correct, that when it comes to the whole self, there is never just one thing. There is never one description. There are many truths found within the whole self. But all of these truths lie within your own existence. It is in the ability to sit back and BE within your ever present now that you gain access to all of these many truths, ideas, and beliefs. Not only do you find solace in the now, but you find great power within that existence.
And we end.
